Arts in Healthcare
In, 2026, I led a mosaic project for an Arts in Healthcare Group.
Supporting participants to produce beautiful butterflies which will be displayed as part of an exhibition in the Autumn.
For Love or Money
I offered community drop-in sessions as part of the Arienas For Love or Money exhibition in 2025.
Tribe Porty Open Day
As part of the Tribe Porty Open Day I ran mini-mosaic sessions using beach found bits and pieces.
Personal Experience with Grief and Trauma
I am not a grief counsellor or therapist. When my husband, Peter, had a terminal diagnosis in 2024, and passed away a few months later, my creativity – my mosaic making – completely changed.
It became more raw and abstract and gave me a vehicle for expressing my emotions without speaking. I came to recognise from this lived experience the importance of having a creative outlet at the worst of times, and how one’s creativity can become something very different.
I am interested in connecting with any community arts workers who would like to explore this further and include mosaic making in their group activities.
