Workshops at
Hampton House
Workshops take place in my home within the centre of Exeter. An oasis in the heart of the city, you’ll discover a welcoming space to chill and create. Most workshops are suitable for beginners, and for those who already have some experience of mosaic making.
The workshops I offer include making gorgeous hanging decorations, coasters, flower pots, Christmas decorations and Christmas wreaths. These sessions are based on principles of learning new skills, enjoyment, sharing and well-being.
All equipment and materials are provided, such as vitreous tiles, stained glass, recycled china, slate and beads, along with lovely refreshments. My programme changes as I introduce new ideas … many people return time and again to try something new. It’s that much fun!
Workshops for Communities, Organisations and Local Projects
I offer workshops to community groups that can be in your own location, where suitable. I can provide a one-off beginner session, or a series of workshops working on a specific project.
I have particular experience working with people who are experiencing mental health challenges and with carers. I have a personal interest in using the medium of mosaic
making to express feelings about grief and trauma.
